The Statesman, one of India's oldest English newspapers, now published from Kolkata, Siliguri and Bhubaneshwar, was founded in 1875. The Statesman is the leading English newspaper in West Bengal.
In the month of march , 2007 they installed one “Web King” web offset printing machine at Kolkata, consisting of Two- 4/4 Towers, one- 4/1 Tower, one- 1/4 Tower and one-1/1 Tower along with folder, Turner bar, Upper Former and necessary drive to print 20- page newspaper in 546 mm cut off size.
